California issued shelter in-place orders on Tue Mar 17, 2020. I have been logging the highlights and lowlights. COVID-19 headlines disappeared; however, COVID-19 politics remained. A tiring Apr. Hope everyone gets extra rest in May.

Wed Apr 22. The CDC refused publishing a report showing the COVID-19 vaccine reduced the chances of hospitalizations. The vaccine reduced emergency visits by 50%. The CDC head and US National Institutes Of Health director Dr. Jay Bhattacharya stopped the publication in the CDC journal the Morbidity And Mortality Weekly Report. The editorial staff rejected the research methods. The research methods have been used for other seasonal respiratory viruses such as the flu and RSV.

Morens faced five counts charged with conspiracy, destruction of records in federal investigations, and concealment of records all related to the COVID-19 virus. Morens served as a senior advisor from 2006 to 2022 under Anthony Fauci. He and two co-conspirators were alleged to evade federal public laws.
