Life is a cycle. Out with the old, in with the new is a common life wisdom. Business professions know the business cycle. Sports fans know the sports cycle. The best anything does is maximize greatness long-term. Something else is being created to replace the best. The best anyone does is maximize greatness in the present. The best maintains their dominance.
The best can't control everything. There are circumstances beyond the best's control unfortunate moments result in losing dominance. The best can delay the life cycle going down by never settling. The best stays hungry.
Someone else is working to be the next best. The unknown businesses, companies, teams, and people are building their championships. One of them takes over their respective industries and professions being the next number ones. One of them becomes the new household names. Eventually the present best becomes the past best. The present best used all their resources. The future best vision is new changes, innovations, and new ideas. Time is up. Nothing lasts forever.
Update On A Past Blog
I shared my opinion the most influential websites globally on Raymond Mar One Liners 2 on Jun 1, 2019. I listed nine websites. I correct the list. The first correction is removing eBay and Craigslist. The second correction is adding Wikipedia. The updated most influential websites globally are Google, YouTube, Reddit, Amazon, Facebook, Microsoft, Apple, and Wikipedia.
