Baby Wipes

Baby wipes should be a top invention included with plumbing, freon, internet, light bulb, soap, and coffee. Consider other names for baby wipes. Call them poo poo wipes. Call them save people's butts. Children use them. Adults use them. Remove the sweat. Remove the grim. Remove the slime. Remove the dirt. Remove the poop. Instant clean. Instant freshness. Bring them for vacations. Bring them for emergencies. Baby wipes can minimize uncomfortableness. Baby wipes can help people fall asleep faster.

Accutane Day 5,607

New freckles or life marks appear on my face. Life marks is a common slang. They're hard to see in the quick on-the-fly selfie. Some existing bumps or brown colored scars are growing in size. The bumps are prominent on both sides of my face between the ears and eyes. I hate them. I live with them in the meantime. I want treatment. I wait for full medical coverage. There must be new treatments today compared to 2009. I hope the new treatments reduce pimples and blackheads for which they still appear.

I use Burt's Bee lip balm when I jog outside. I don't remember the last time I applied facial cream to my face after the Accutane Day 4,336 blog written on Jan 2, 2021.

I like my egg shaped face today compared to the rounder face in Mar 2009. I look better smile or no smile.

To Read Or Not To Read

Blogger's Note: May is pic month. I'm catching up posting pics from my smart phone. Enjoy!

I'm too young to read books. I question more if I have stronger reading skills. I waste time eating potato chips increasing in price. I need therapy to stop mental declining. My therapist said read more books.

Routine oil changes are required for a car driving hundreds of thousands of miles as long as the car owner possesses the necessary tools. Don't use new towels when changing oil. New towels are unfounded at evicted tenant's residences.

The 10 Percent Physical Is Much Bigger With 90 Percent Mental

A common success formula is 10% physical and 90% mental. The formula applies to sports, to many physical activities, and professional action activities. The 10% physical mathematically speaking is 10% out of 100%. However, the 10% is much bigger conceptually speaking.

Many people believe mental health is the most important in a human. Many people say good mental status is the top priority. A common knowledge mind, body, and spirit are important for a successful life. Many people neglect body and spirit. My easy definition of spirit is sleep. Sleep eight hours a night.

I speak counterintuitively. The body or the physical is below the brain. The physical or the body is the most important. I include oral hygiene, bathing, grooming, and body nurturing as part of them. A poor physical health makes mental health maintenance difficult. Exercise. Eat healthy. Minimize processed foods. Do all the above sincerely. Motivation is strengthen. The chances of depression decrease. Never stop learning. Innovate infinitely. Earn happiness with courage.

The person's look doesn't lie. The physical appearance tells the truth. The story is told by presentation.

I Brush My Teeth To Save Ten Thousand Dollars

My dad went to the dentist for a morning surgery. He received a tooth implant. $10,000 was the cost for the implant. The cost was higher when factoring in pain medications, antibiotics, vomit control pills, and, if he still worked, loss of worktime. The non-monetary costs included throwing up, bedridden, and temporary restricted diet.

I brush my teeth in the morning after breakfast and the evening before bedtime. I floss my teeth after breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I blame poor dental advice from past dentists for my deep gum pockets. I use mouthwash after lunch. I use a Waterpik in the evening. I use a tongue scraper in the evening. I wear a retainer to maintain straight teeth and to avoid grinding my teeth when I sleep. The minutes spent day and night for clean teeth is worth the time. In addition, good oral hygiene is important for sex. Sex and $10,000+ are the best motivators to minimize the chances of major dental problems. I hope I have good dental family genes I never need dental surgery when I get old.

Dermatitis And Good Years

The first time there was dermatitis on my hands was 2005. The second time was 2009. The third time was 2020. The fourth time was today. There was dermatitis between 2009 and 2019 for which I don't remember the exact dates. The 2005 and 2009 outbreaks I applied a prescription ointment; in particular, the 2009 there was dermatitis on my face and neck. Afterwards, I used the remaining prescription ointment or over the counter hydrocortisone ointment, especially in 2020. I purchased a different hydrocortisone cream for eczema and dermatitis earlier today because my regular hydrocortisone is too weak.

The three years I mentioned 2005, 2009, and 2020 were good years. I graded 2005 and 2009 both A+. I graded 2020 a B. You can read the blogs on years I graded Grading My Past Years and 2020 Year In Review. Is 2021 going to be a good year?

I'm aware of the small sample size. I'm aware the years between 2009 and 2019 are inconclusive. I'm aware correlation is not a causation. It seems every dermatitis requiring medication my year is good. It's coincidence.

Here's another correlation is not a causation. I'm job searching. I experience diarrhea days before or days after an in-person job interview since Nov 2017 as far back as I remember. I know the interview result from a toilet. 100% true prediction. I didn't get hire. The last job interview I avoided oily foods days before and days after. I also ate less. I got diarrhea. I didn't get hire. The job opening was back on the company's job portal.

Life is weird.

Accutane Day 4,336

My face continues to get more spots which I call freckles or life marks. The common slang is life marks. I use Burt's Bee lip balm when my lips are dried. No facial cream applied to my face in the Fall 2020 and Winter 2021 months.

My face looks handsome after every shave. Some of my pores or acne scars disappear after every shave in the morning. The evening the pores or acne scars reappear. Maybe my eyes are deceiving me. I don’t know why.

I want another Accutane treatment because bumps are reappearing on both sides of my face near my ears. I wait for full medical coverage to pursue treatment. There must be new treatments today compared to 2009.

Black Friday 2020

My Black Friday 2020 shopping didn't happen on Fri Nov 27 because of COVID-19. My purchases were made either before Thanksgiving Day or Cyber Monday. I exclude any sales before Black Friday or after Cyber Monday.

Mon Nov 23

The Home Depot extended their Black Friday sales for the entire Nov month. I purchased a set of four ratchet straps for a gift.

Sat Dec 5

Walgreens 30% off online orders during Cyber Monday week. I purchased bare necessities including Vanicream soap, Biofreeze cream, Neosporin, and Head & Shoulders shampoo.

I shop on Black Fridays to purchase bare necessities which includes stocking up on bare necessities, to buy new durable goods, to upgrade existing durable goods, and to buy DVDs on my wish list. Black Fridays are good shopping days for appliances, clothes, new TVs, desktop parts, and towels. If I can wait for Black Friday, then I wait. No SlickDeals' Frontpage Deals were purchased during Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Raymond Mar 2015-2019 Looking Better

The picture above is me on my family's 2015-2019 Christmas photos. I admit I started to look genuinely handsome in 2017. My 2017 photo was taken months after two surgeries for Acute Gallstone Pancreatitis. I'm fortunate I look better as I age physically speaking. It's true intelligence or never stop learning, physical fitness, confidence, minimize eating processed foods, and staying active are important to be a good looking human being.

Physical Appearance

The late Steve Jobs said we do judge a book by its cover. A person must never trick the world with poor physical appearance. Good people. Strong people. Honest people. They never walk out of their residences with poor physical appearances. Their appearances match their good, strong, and honest personalities. Their physical appearances match their intelligence, wisdom, and interests. The minimum is practice good hygiene both body and oral, good grooming, decent clothes, and proper etiquette. Also, they eat healthy, minimized alcohol consumption, and devote time for physical activity. Be honest on self-image. Don't have a loser self-image. Don't be a show-off.

Accutane Day 3,682

I might as well kill two birds with one stone. The first is update my face years after my Accutane treatment was completed. The second is update my face 10 years later or the 10 year looks challenge.

My face neither improved nor worsen significantly. I still have an acne scar above my forehead. My hairline continues receding. I may need another Accutane treatment because bumps are reappearing on the left side of my face near my left ear. I wait for full medical coverage to pursue treatment. I stopped going to my dermatologist due to a medical insurance error.

I apply Ponds facial cream when my face dries up in the daytime. The CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Lotion PM I purchased in 2011 still works. I apply the CeraVe when my face dries up before bedtime. I use Burt's Bee lip balm when my lips are dried. Vanilla and Pomegranate are my favorite flavors.

My face sweats easily. Accutane worked. My face rarely sweated before Accutane. Maybe my body changed for which I'm heat sensitive my face sweats significantly. Maybe Accutane was a coincidence.

I lost 25 pounds since April 2017. My highest weight averaged 188 pounds. I'm currently 163 pounds. My face shows the weight loss.

Finally, I'm getting more spots which I call freckles on my face. There is a dermatology medical term for the spots. I forgot the medical term. A common slang is life marks. A human gets more life marks as he or she ages.

Accutane Day 2,713

My annual checkup was on Mon Jan 18, 2016. I requested the dermatologist for minor surgery to remove two bumps on my face. The first bump was below my left eye and the upper midface region. The second bump was on my temporal region to the left of my right eye. The dermatologist said minor surgery was not needed. The bumps could be removed by zapping with electric shock.

The zapping treatment was cosmetic surgery performed after my annual checkup. There was preparation applying a cream on the two bumps. There was an option of injecting a liquid to minimize pain from the shock. I said the injection wasn’t needed. The zapping broke open the bumps breaking apart the oils as explained in lament terms. Scars appeared after the cosmetic surgery. The dermatologist gave me a sample size bottle of Celacyn gel to speed up the scar healing. I applied the gel three times since Jan 18. The pic above shows the first scar remains. The second scar is completely healed.

There is a third bump on my forehead above my right eye clearly shown. It looks like cosmetic surgery can remove the bump. I delay the zapping treatment because money is tight. I have no reason to get the treatment immediately.

I mentioned in past Accutane blogs my acne scars have been healing. The acne scars stopped healing months ago. I see no more areas of my face clear of acne scars after I shave. I see less dead skin on my razor. My nose still has the occasional blackheads and whiteheads.

I stopped applying Tretinoin cream because money is tight. I can’t afford another tube. The dermatologist recommended Epionce Lyric Tx cream for which she gave me samples bottles. I apply the Epionce Lyric Tx every three days on my nose, my cheeks where the acne scars are, forehead, and temporal regions. The Epionce seems to be working. Acne appearing on my face continues to be rare.

Finally, I asked the dermatologist about my callus on my feet. The dermatologist recommended Kamea G exfoliating foot cream. The cost was $20 for a 4oz tube. Expensive. I gave it a try. The dermatologist told me to apply two times a day. The second time was applied at night before going to sleep. I wore socks after I applied the foot cream. The foot cream combined with the pumice stone removing callus worked. I discovered there are cheaper foot creams in drug stores. I try a cheaper foot cream when I’m out of Kamea G. I stopped applying Kamea G during the summer because wearing socks at night kept me too warm. In the meantime, I remove callus with the pumice stone only.

Accutane Day 2,175

I choose to use my photo I posted on Sat Dec 27, 2014. Click here to view my Accuntane Day 2,151 blog.

I visited my dermatologist on Mon Jan 19 for my annual checkup. Everything was good. I was asked for a full body exam meaning a full skin examination. I didn't need the examination. I asked if there are any new creams. The dermatologist said no for my needs. Tretinoin is my best exfoliate topical cream which I started applying Sun nights instead of Thur nights. My acne scars continue to heal. There have been no acne outbreaks. My face continues clearing up especially the acne scar on the top of my forehead.

I continue to believe my changing hormones and shaving contributes to my clearing face. I shave three days a week using a razor shaving with the grain and against the grain. My shaving has been removing more dead skin.

The dermatologist asked about my dermatitis on my hands. I informed her I switched my moisturizer from Vanicream to Nivea. She was shocked because her medical office recommends Vanicream since it contains no additives, dyes, and fragrances. I use Nivea Extended Moisture Body Lotion 48 hour. Vanicream resulted in bumps the color of my skin. I use Cortisone instead of Desoximetasone ointment for topical treatment. Cortisone is weaker than Desoximetasone; however, it's much cheaper. Finally, she encouraged me to maintain moisturizing my hands to avoid getting sick. She said dry cuticles attract viruses causing illness. Interesting.

Accutane Day 2,151

I purchased a new tube of Tretinoin on Aug 25, 2014. I continue to apply the cream every Thurs night. I have been inconsistent applying the once a week cream on a Fri, Sat, or Sun night recently. It seems my face continues to improve. There is additional acne scar improvement on my right cheek. The scars are disappearing. The acne scars on my left cheek is starting to improve. The acne scar on top of my forehead is disappearing. The blackheads appear less frequent on my nose. And a combination of acne scars and blackheads on both sides of my face next to my eyes are healing and appear less frequent. The summary is my face is clearing up.

My dermatologist said my scars are not supposed to heal. Why are my scars healing? My two guesses are Tretinoin is working and my hormones are changing such that no more teenage acneface problems. A third guess is shaving. I shave three days a week using a razor. Perhaps, my shaving is removing more dead skin recently.

Speaking of shaving, I notice more facial hair appearing on the acne scars area. I anticipate more new facial hair spots throughout my face.

I have been sweating profusely after working out at the gym. My forehead becomes a rain cloud dripping drops of sweat everywhere on my face. I rarely sweat on hot days decades ago. I handled the heat very well when I was a child. Sweat appeared in my hair on top of my head only. I believe Accutane and Tretinoin open pores on my forehead.

You Are Who You Are From Your Head Down To Your Feet

You are a human being. You're responsible for who you are top, middle, and bottom. You're in charge of yourself physically, mentally, emotionally, financially, and spiritually. It is common knowledge adults make their choices how we live. Nobody makes choices for you. I want to comment some aspects on who you are and how you function in your life.

Brain. Take care of your brain. Your brain is responsible for your actions, thinking, memories, and learning. I use my brain to my fullest. I read books. I always seek to learn something new. I use my brain to comprehend everything in my life. Use your brain or lose it.

Mouth. I brush my teeth twice a day. I floss once a day. I clean my tongue once a day with a tongue cleaner. I smile because I'm happy I'm alive. I smile because I'm doing my best to live a better life. I take care of my teeth to enjoy eating new foods and be a good kisser.

Clothes. A good appearance starts with clothes. Wear clothes that resemble who you are. Wear clothes sincerely, honestly, and genuinely. Take care of your clothes including washing and ironing. If you're not a lazy person, then you must not be lazy choosing your clothes and taking care of your clothes. I'm happy I stopped wearing plain white t-shirts years ago.

Physical Activity. We have elbows and knees. Use them. Get active. I work out at the gym. Bodies are meant to move around. Find time to move around. Use your muscles or lose them.

Diet. Eat healthy foods and drinks. The simple saying "you are what you eat" is true. Junk food is unhealthy. Studies show junk food taste good during the meal moment; thereafter, junk food causes bad moods. Healthy food results in healthy minds and healthy emotions.

Bare Essentials. I fail to understand people not taking showers on a regular basis. I feel good with a clean body. I shower once a day. I get at least seven hours of sleep. I change my bed sheets once a month. I change my towels once a week. I wear deodorant. I wear a hat on sunny days. I want to be good at taking care of my body. The bare essentials are important. I always look for improving taking care of my body. I like myself. I take care of myself.

Bowel Moments. A few of my friends take a number two in the bathroom once a week. What the heck? I take a dump at least twice a day. Regular bowel moments are important. I don't want to carry waste in my body for a long period of time. Eat healthy to improve your bowel movements. An abdominal massage can help some people improve their bowel movements.

Work. It's important to work. I felt worthless being unemployed for two years and four months. I'm happy I found work. It's not permanent. It's a start. Earning an income makes me a responsible adult. I'm overwork and underpaid. That's okay. I pay my dues which results in good fortunes coming soon.

Pray. I'm not into religion. If you feel you must pray, then pray. The simplest way to relax and connect with your God is sit, close your eyes, and smile. Yoga and meditation are good, too.

Accutane Day 1,809

I used about 33% of Tretinoin since around Feb and Mar 2013. I applied the facial cream once a week. The blackheads and whiteheads continue on my nose and cheeks. No acne flare ups. There was one acne every two or three months. I continue the routine applying Tretinoin once a week.

Tretinoin is powerful. My dermatologist said the facial cream was like peeling my skin. My tube's expiration date is Aug 2014. He said I can continue using beyond the expiration date because expiration dates are approximations from the FDA. The cream strength is 95% after the expiration date. He gave me a prescription if I want a refill in Aug. Prescriptions are valid for one year.

I asked my dermatologist two questions. The first question was freckles. He told me freckles are temporary sun spots. They disappear eventually. I asked him the freckles question because I thought I received more freckles on my entire body from head to toe. I showed him my left arm and left leg the black spots I thought were freckles. I was wrong. The black spots are moles. I asked him how moles appear. He explained confusedly with medical jargon. I followed up the mole question with the same black spots I see in older people. He called those moles "age marks."

My second question was my acne scars on my cheeks. It seemed the scars are healing; in other words, my cheeks are clearing up to be smooth. My dermatologist was surprised. He said as we age, our faces experience something negative. I didn't quite understand to explain in detail. The bottom line was my dermatologist didn't give me a clear answer. He said it was great if I'm correct my acne scars are healing. They were not supposed to heal.

I posted a pic above. I should find time to compare past Accutane blogs I posted my face.

Groom Well Bro

A man who shaves his face or a man who trims his facial hair shows something. He takes care of himself. He cares about his appearance on the outside. He devotes time to portray himself as a person who finds time to groom himself. A person who finds time taking care of himself should be a person who cares about his well-being.

I see men with lousy beards, ugly side burns running along the bottom of his face, and half-ass shaving. Those facial hair appearances give me the impression they don't take care of themselves. They probably live in a messy residence. I highly doubt these men have respectable careers. High paying jobs require interacting with people. Nobody wants to look terrible in a business meeting.

Taking care of your face says something about who you are. Find time to groom yourself.

The Number One Reason I Brush My Teeth

Good hygiene is equally important for a healthy person. Some of us neglect our mouth, teeth, and tongue. Some of us minimally brush our teeth once a day to satisfy cleaning our mouth. There is no flossing. Mouth washing itself is ineffective. Bad hygiene leads to long term health problems for your mouth and teeth. I want to have my teeth when I'm old age to continue eating good foods without pain.

One reason I brush my teeth after breakfast and before I go to sleep is to avoid getting sick from a dirty mouth. The toothpaste I use contains baking soda. I use another toothbrush to brush the gum line below my teeth. I floss using a thick dental floss. I dislike the cheap, generic, thin floss. And I scrape my tongue using a tongue cleaner.

The number one reason I take care of my mouth is sex. Think about it. Nobody wants to kiss another person with bad breath, bad teeth, bad gums, and bad lips. Google image "bad teeth" or "bad mouth". You probably want to start brushing again immediately. That's a reality check.

The mouth is important for sex: lips, good breath, healthy gums, and the tongue. Nobody wants sores and bleeding gums inside their mouth. The mouth and tongue are free of nasty bumps and fluids. Take care of the mouth just like taking a shower for the body. Partners want to be clean from head to toe, and that includes the mouth.

A Life Lesson I Learned Gangnam Style

You probably heard about Gangnam Style, a rap song by South Korean rapper PSY. The rap video is currently number one on YouTube's Most Viewed Videos in the music category. Gangnam is a district in Seoul, South Korean populated with trendy and affluent people. The song's theme is about girls behaving well or behaving wild at the perfect moment.

Jae-Sang Park, PSY's birth name, was born on Dec 31, 1977. He has been singing since 2000. He attended Boston University and Berklee College of Music. His Gangnam Style song won awards this year.

The life lesson I learned is PSY himself in his video. He taught me everything in a person counts: looks, appearance, confidence, strength, eye contact, social skills, knowledge, conversation skills, style, charisma, personal hygiene, physical fitness, emotional stability, etc. PSY is not the most handsome person in the world; however, he's a good looking man because of his other attributes. He can dance, he dresses with style, he performs with confidence , and he shows good charisma. I'm sure his social skills and conversation skills are great because he has a public life.

Every attribute, feature, and characteristic in a person complement each other. If a person is beautiful, that person should be responsible, show knowledge, and have a sense of adventure such as trying something new or visiting a new place. If a person is not beautiful, that person should dress well to show there is beauty and take care of the body . . . brush the teeth and bathe regularly.

The bottom line is the inside of a person brings out the outside and the outside of a person brings out the inside. Nobody wants to be with a good looking person who acts like a jerk. Nobody wants to be with a responsible person who wears t-shirts and sweat shorts. Both inside and outside must be in sync working together to show the best in the person.
