My blog innovates and improves life’s common knowledge. The successful people find ways doing something better. They innovate their lives infinitely. Maintain Daily Order In The Daily Disorder
entropy: 1 physics: a thermodynamic quantity representing the unavailability of a system's thermal energy for conversion into mechanical work, often interpreted as the degree of disorder or randomness in the system; a thermodynamic quantity representing the amount of energy in a system that is no longer available for doing mechanical work. 2 lack of order or predictability; gradual decline into disorder. Everything in the universe eventually moves from order to disorder, and entropy is the measurement of that change. The degree of disorder or uncertainty in a system.
There is daily disorder in life. Disorder existed yesterday, disorder exists today, and disorder exists tomorrow. Disorder is clear and present no matter the laws, controls, safeguards, discipline, machinery, rules, and human knowledge. Energy is required to create order. Effort is needed to stop disorder. Education and training are necessary to learn order. Disorder is easy. Order can be hard. Disorder is inevitable. Order is a choice. The ordered person practices order and repeats by repetition order. The disordered person is the person with no life motivation. A messed up person lives a life of disorder.

Winners Attract
I dreamed last night I played for a Major League Soccer (MLS) team. The season started. My position was midfielder. I started four games. I was substituted in the second half of the fourth game. Our record started 0-4. The fourth game was played in a gigantic tavern with the soccer field in the middle of the tavern. There was a giant flat screen TV above one side of the field against a wall from the high ceiling. The bar and individual chairs aligned one side of the field. It was a dream for which some parts make no sense.
I was benched for the next five games. I was not substituted in the game. I asked questions from the fourth game to the ninth game. I asked teammates on the bench. I asked the head coach. It was information and intelligence gathering why we lost the first four games and more games thereafter. The answers made me angry. The team didn't practice between games. Poor coaching staff. Ownership didn't care. Low morale. Little teamwork. Nobody wanted to talk to me outside my information and intelligence gathering.
I practiced on my own after the fifth game. I drilled kicks. I worked out in the gym to increase strength, speed, and endurance. The hard work paid off. I was substituted in the second half of the tenth game. I scored a goal. I started on the eleventh game. I scored three goals or a hat trick. The three goals were easy scores in the open because the opposition underestimated me.
One teammate initiated a conversation with me after the game. He was concerned I overachieved. I didn't worry about being released. The fan base started to support me after the hat trick. Ownership didn't want bad public relations if the team released me.
Game twelve I scored an assist. I didn't know I scored a fifth goal because I woke up.
My point of the dream is people who are winners attract other people. Confidence attracts. Strength attracts. Initiative attracts. Intelligence attracts. Communication attracts. Self-esteem attracts. Motivation attracts. Good people attract.

A Second Look At 2021
It's the time I look back at my 2021 blogs to give myself feedback. The goals delaying one year are relearning from my mistakes, reinforcing my lessons, reminding myself my moments, refreshing acquired knowledge, rediscovering new wisdom, correcting errant blogs, and sharing changes. The ten blogs are also the 2021 best blogs.
1. A 46 Year Old Mind And Spirit Inside A 13 Year Old Body
Date: Sat Jan 9
Summary: I dreamed I was the captain of my co-ed basketball team in junior high school.
Feedback: I can't explain my feeling I need to take charge more in life. I take charge inside the household, outside the household, any group of people, and any situation nothing is happening. Making the decisions and making the choices are the first time I step up. I'm the person to speak up. If nothing happens, then I accept it. The absolute minimum is I done something. I create action. Success or failure doesn't matter. Start small. Climb up the ladder slowly and surely.
2. No On The Job Training For Excel. Also No Classes On How To Use A PC. Better Know How To Type.
Date: Tue Jun 29
Summary: More jobs require more prerequisites, additional acquired knowledge, and higher self-taught skills.
Feedback: More white collar professions self-training and self-learning are required because there is more technology to know, more technology to learn, and more knowledge to acquire. There is not enough time in an education setting to teach everything. Perhaps, blue collar professions, too, such as auto mechanics self-training and self-learning are required to get an interview.
High schools and colleges should be increasing the number of classes require to graduate. There is more to learn. There is more technology to learn. Otherwise, a student is responsible for himself or herself to self-teach anything important for success not taught in school.
I remember an Excel assignment in Accounting 1C class at De Anza College. Half of the class didn't finish the assignment because their Excel skills were poor. High school students should learn basic spreadsheet skills.
3. Throwback Blog: A Mixed Bag Of Everything
Date: Wed Jun 30
Summary: I took a second look at Aug 2006.
Feedback: The month Aug 2006 summarized most of the year 2006.
I said most of the happiness was faked. I was depressed most of the year. I was unhappy most of the year. They are incorrect. I take them back. 2006 was a good year. I admit I could have done a better job to make 2006 a better year. For instance, I mentioned, ". . . I could have done such as find a new job, self-teach myself Excel correctly, and research gym workout plans." The positives outweighed the negatives. The 2006 happiness was good.
I forgot my grandmother on my dad's side past away in Jul 2006. I visit my grandparents on my dad's side at least once a year.
A simple, sarcastic, and wise quote from a friend must be repeated. Barnes said, "Enjoy it or complain."
4. The Look
Date: Tue Aug 10
Summary: I dreamed I was in a contest to put puzzle pieces together inspired me a person's looks show who he or she is.
Feedback: I stand by my opinion with 98% accuracy. We always judge people by their looks. We always judge people by their appearances. The judgements are 98% accurate. The 2% are the exceptions.
The day Thur Dec 1, 2022 convinced me to add The Look on A Second Look. I shopped at a grocery store and a drugstore. The grocery store cashier and the drugstore store manager looked like they don't belong in retail. They belong in tech. Something happened in their pasts they are desperate for any job. The cashier job and the store manager job are the best jobs they found. Underachievers? Maybe. Bad luck? Maybe. Unfortunate circumstances? Likely.
5. A Loser Is Pissed At People Who Screw It Up
Date: Sun Aug 22
Summary: I expressed anger some winners self-destruct their good lives.
Feedback: People like me are false losers. False losers are doing their best to live a good life. We prepare for the next opportunity. We continue to get stronger, get smarter, and get wiser. There is no complaining. We appreciate life. We take care of ourselves inside and outside. Spending is controlled. The false losers are hidden. Nobody talks about the false losers because we're losers.
The real losers are the people who screw up their freedom. The real losers take life for granted. The real losers fail to maintain and to strengthen their successes. Sometimes the real losers become losers by the sign of the times or too many down on their lucks. It's unfortunate. Some real losers are losers through no fault of their own. It's life.
6. I Was Lonely, I Fell Through The Cracks, Everyone Let Me Go
Date: Tue Sep 14
Summary: I recalled my teachers and my managers failed to help my learning problems.
Feedback: I use the feedback to address my youngest nephew in pre-kindergarten who cries. I cried many times in pre-school. It's part of growing up. Be patient. Don't give up parents. Don't quit. Teach your children. Be tough and be fair when rough parenting are in play.
7. Algebra II Math Intuition
Date: Sun Oct 17
Summary: I dreamed I took an Algebra II exam in high school for which one question the answer was unequal or no answer.
Feedback: I trusted my intuition to conclude the proof question was unequal. Trust intuition. No analysis paralysis. Sometimes there is no solution. If there is no solution, then no solution is correct.
"I began to realize that an intuitive understanding and consciousness was more significant than abstract thinking and intellectual logical analysis . . . intuition is a very powerful thing, more powerful than intellect, in my opinion. That's had a big impact on my work." --Steve Jobs
The third blog from my dreams in A Second Look 2021.
8. The 1992 Presidential Election Bill Clinton At San Jose State University
Date: Thur Oct 28
Summary: Impatience cost me an opportunity to attend an once-in-a-lifetime presidential rally.
Feedback: I remember the Paul McCartney concert at AT&T Park in Jul 2010. His band was significantly late. It was intentional. Fans waited longer. The longer the wait, the more excitement the audience became when the band played. Life wisdom. If you need to wait for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, then take the wait.
9. Celebrities Are Assholes Because We're Assholes
Date: Sun Nov 28
Summary: The second look is an update on a past blog Today Is A Lucky Day I Count My Blessings written on Feb 23, 2020 when I realized I became a genius.
Feedback: Focus is good; however, don't focus too much. Can't finish it today? There's always tomorrow. If you need a break, then do something else constructive. Don't want to finish it? Delay when you feel refreshed or quit when it's a no go. On the other hand, don't delay or quit because of laziness. Incomplete work is not to be submitted. Wait for the work to be completed; although, half-ass is better than nothing. Make the intelligent judgment.
10. My Six Guarantees
Date: Sat Dec 11
Summary: The six guarantees in no particular order are death, taxes, everyone is weird, everyone changes, everyone has problems, and there are 24 hours a day and seven days a week.
Feedback: If there are awards for blog of the year, then I nominate the blog. I refer to the blog more times in the future.
The following blogs are honorable mentions: Everybody Doesn't Manage and Have The Courage To Be Sincerely Happy.

Some Parents Can't Teach Their Children
Parents are people. Parents are human beings. Some people can't teach to save their lives. If teaching is a requirement to become a parent, then there are fewer families.
There are multiple reasons why. The reasons are valid or invalid. I let the reader make the choice. I put my parents on the spotlight. Sometimes they fake knowing the questions asked. My parents don't want to be embarrassed they don't know enough. They're ashamed of their ignorance. They're lazy to learn what they don't know. They're lazy to research for a deeper understanding. My parents don't take responsibility teaching me and my siblings the basics. The school system is responsible.
My parents are poor teachers. They can't teach and do both at the same time. Sometimes they avoid our questions because they're afraid they teach us wrong. Unfortunately, most of what they actually taught is wrong. I unlearned and released their incorrect teachings myself. My parents are slow teachers when they taught us. Their teaching is boring.
Update On A Past Blog
One of my philosophies is the chances of a good week starts with a good Monday. I wrote Monday is an important day at The Philosophies Of Raymond Mar 3 on May 25, 2014. I reinforced a good Monday at The Philosophies Of Raymond Mar Which Changed on Oct 21, 2016. Sometimes the Sunday day is the start of a good week. The chances of a good calendar week starts with a good calendar Sunday. For example, devote more time to rest, complete outstanding errands, prepare the upcoming week responsibilities, and relax.

I Give The Reader Permission To Write Something, Anything
Write a blog. Write a story. Write a journal entry. Write a diary entry. Write a one page something. Here is an idea to write something: write anything. Writing is doing something, anything. I give the reader permission to write. Think freely. Write. Go to dictionary.com to find a random word to spark a writing topic. Here are random words here: moon, green, water, United States Of America, swimming, tree, slam, saw, electricity, cook, bargain, lucky, space, and eagle.

The Look
I dreamed last night Palo Alto Police staged a rescue in a courthouse in California. My position was inside the courthouse. The courthouse was like a junior college student union. The rescue was actually a contest. Each two person team was given 18 pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. Each piece was the size of a square. My partner did almost all the work. I matched two pieces doing nothing. One of my two pieces was actress Reese Witherspoon. Otherwise, I'm the poster detective promoting the Palo Alto Police Department. A misallocation of resources. My talents were wasted.
The dream, logically or illogically, inspires me the write today's blog on the look. The person has the look of *fill in the blank*. High confidence in *fill in the blank* is correct. The late Steve Jobs said we do judge a book by its cover. We judge a person by his or her looks. Anyone saying otherwise is lying. We judge consciously or unconsciously. We evaluate a person by appearance. The person has the geek look. The person has the athletic appearance. The person dresses like an administrative assistant. The person's clothes communicate a professional model. The physical appearance identifies a carpenter. Another physical appearance identifies a doctor. The look is a police officer. Losers have their own look. There are exceptions such as actors and actresses doing their jobs, con artists, masters of disguise, and people being in a bad mood. Guesses are highly accurate for which an amateur profiler can guess accurately.
We can change our look. We can change from the inside to the outside. We can change from the top to the bottom. The change must be honest. The change must be sincere. Physical, mental, clothes, friends, hobbies, career, and everything else to be the truth. No more tricks. No more fake smiles. No more hiding.
No more meth drug look. No more alcoholic look. No more work stress look. No more doing nothing look. No more "you look terrible" or "what happened to you" look in a negative way. Say yes to "you're good looking." Say yes to more "you look great. What changed?"

Roll The Dice When You Wake Up
Chances happen every second. Meeting new people, avoiding a car accident, winning a contest, creating the next business idea, getting sick, starting a bad habit, changing to be a different person, and breaking a toy are examples of chances happening. The future is unknown. We take a chance something good or something bad comes tomorrow. We hope we are at the right place at the right time. Timing and luck are in favor. We hope we're not at the wrong place at the wrong time. Timing and luck aren't in favor. Life is unfair.
We roll the dice for all our choices. Sports fans know there are chances the improbable happens. It's sports. It's life. Sports fans know players and coaches prepare multiple speeches for their post-game interviews. There are winners. There are losers.
We roll the dice hoping for consistent good rolls. The rolls result in a lucky break. Life momentum flows in favor. There are people who live lives with consistent bad rolls. Too many frustrations. Too many setbacks. Bad luck. Bad timing. Successful people must admit their lucky. There are other people who take over their successes; they didn't get the opportunity. People work hard intelligently increasing the odds for success. Unfortunately, life rewards some of these people.
Sometimes the dice rolls for something weird. Sometimes the dice rolls for something out of the ordinary. Never say never. Think of something weird. Think of anything oddball. The chances are it happens. There are no explanations--the unexplained.
There are lonely people. If you're an unlucky person living a lonely life, then I tell you you're not the only lonely person in the world. There are lonely people. It's life. Life somehow finds a way people are lonely. Life somehow finds a way anything and everything happens. Nobody has unique problems. Everyone has problems.
People succeed and people fail. People are born and people die. People are lucky and people are unlucky. People have opportunities to succeed. People have nothing to succeed. Everyone is different. There is irony in life. Some people are blessed with everything to be winners life finds a way to prohibit success. Some people are blessed with nothing life leads a path to enable success.
What are the odds? What are the chances? We control as much as we can to increase the odds. We can't control everything. Sometimes life decreases the odds. Roll the dice.
Update On A Past Blog
I want to mention Neon Genesis Evangelion or Eva which was one of my favorite anime series in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Eva didn't make my Top Ten My All Time Favorite Anime Series list I wrote on Sep 20, 2014. Many anime fans in my generation and today's generation misunderstand the plot. The plot isn't humans defending against angels. The plot isn't NERV being attacked from the Japanese government. The plot is about human relationships good and bad. NERV, angels, robots, and the Japanese government portray the plot. Eva is a classic anime series. I wonder if more of today's anime generation spend time watching classics emphasizing on intelligent writing, memorable characters, and mature themes.

No Time To Plan
Sometimes planning ahead works. Sometimes planning ahead is infeasible. There is no time to research. Information is unavailable. Forget thinking. The learning manual is too complex.
I make a judgment call today. Plan ahead or do it now is a case by case basis. It depends on the situation. Sometimes there is no time to plan. Spontaneous planning is required to complete a task. Plan last minute. Immediate action. Learn by trial and error. Use intuition. It's faster to just do it. Do as it goes. There is no shame switching from a plan ahead to no time to plan mindset. There is no lower intelligence the situation calls for no time to plan ahead.
A Dating Tip
I have a better understanding some people prefer to date a spontaneous person; likewise, marry a spontaneous person. Spontaneity adds surprise and excitement to a relationship. Sometimes the unknown adds joy. Spontaneity tests courage--intelligent spontaneity is more accurate.
Update On A Past Blog
The 2018-2019 NFL season started. I was reminded I wrote September, The Beginning of the End when Sep was the beginning of my calendar year instead of Jan. Sep was the month my school year began and temperatures began to cool down. I take back Sep begins my new calendar year. One reason is school years begin in Aug before Labor Day. I'm with the crowd. Jan begins my new calendar year. If the past year was a bad year, then Jan is a fresh start. If the past year was a good year, then Jan continues the good year momentum to make the upcoming year better. New Year's Day is not just another day. New Year's Day can be a beginning.

Top Ten I Want To Learn More
I welcomed the never stop learning attitude truthfully in Sep 2014. I followed the never stop learning attitude casually before Sep 2014. I failed to follow through. My childhood years were too much fun. My parents failed to encourage me to learn something new. My parents were bad teachers when they taught me their skills and knowledge.
The past is the past. I'm responsible for myself. It's never too late to learn something new. Keep the brain active and strong. Learn more about sex. Yes, sex. I have your attention now. Who wants to improve their sex live? I should see many hands raised. Sex is number two in my top ten.
Here are the top ten I want to learn more:
10. Cars. I know the basics of the basics; however, there are more basics I want to learn. I know how to change the oil, replace the air filter, replace the cabin air filter, check tire air pressure, change all bulbs, and inspect liquids. I read the weekly car advice articles in the newspaper and Car Talk podcasts repeats. There are rare chances I know the answers to the questions.
9. Electrical. My parents purchased a child science kit at a garage sale when I was a child. I thought I was dumb. I never got the electricity to flow. I followed the instructions. I realized the science kit was broken when I was an adult. It's time to catch up what I missed. I plan to purchase a child electronics kit. I also plan to watch YouTube videos on basic electronics. I add child science kits to number 9.
8. Board Games. Board games is one of my favorite hobbies. Experienced board gamers know how to win in many genres including cards, dice, and strategy. I want to learn how the experienced board gamers win consistently. Specifically, I want to learn more about Mahjong. I want to learn more strategies playing the Hong Kong and Japanese styles.
7. Camping, Backpacking, Outdoors, And Prepper. I combine the four into one category because all four requires very similar equipment and survival knowledge. I know enough for day hikes. I want to advance my outdoor skills. Watch YouTube videos. Enroll in survival classes. Sign up for REI free classes. I'm a REI member.
6. Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). I completed a 21 hour academy to become a CERT member in Feb 2015. The training included triage, light search & rescue, and fire suppression. I want more training. I feel unprepared if a citywide major disaster happened tomorrow. My county has an EMT Certification and Paramedic Accreditation program for civilians.
5. Cooking. My cooking skills are perfect for a single person to survive on my own. There's more I want to learn. YouTube videos are solid to improve my cooking skills. I cook the best Chow Mein people visit me instead of eating at a Chinese restaurant one of these days.
4. Social Etiquette. Courtesy, kindness, strength, communication, and joy are part of my social skills. I want to be the best gentleman. Excellent social etiquette skills are required when dating. The Awesome Etiquette podcast from The Emily Post Institute is a good start learning better etiquette.
3. Physical Fitness. Bodybuilding.com is my primary source for physical fitness information. I'm always open to suggestions to improve my workout routine.
2. Sex. If you can never stop learning sex, then you can never stop learning other topics. Today's information technology gives people access to advice. Choose what you feel is the best advice. My primary source is the podcast Sex With Emily. My sex advice is be physically fit.
1. Job Skills. Police, firefighters, paramedics, military, and educators are required to review their core skills and knowledge. They are also required to learn new skills and knowledge. I believe their requirements must apply to blue collar and white collar jobs.
I learned the lesson the hard way. My commercial real estate career required little learning new skills and knowledge. I initiated little learning new skills and knowledge. Currently, I'm learning Oracle. I reviewed Excel, Access, SQL, and Salesforce. I learned forecasting, dashboards, analysis, and regression analysis since May 2015. I continue to review and to learn new job skills when I start working full time.
I agree with Presidential candidate and former Florida Governor Jeb Bush who said we should be working more. I add the word intelligently. We should be working more intelligently.

Mike's Rules
Here are Mike's Rules:
Complement A Person. Your goals are to recognize the person's presence, make the person smile, and say thank you. For example, complement on the person's boots.
Take The Initiative to make people feel better. A complement is a good idea. Other ideas include offering assistance, be a good listener, and being the person to get change to help pay the bill in a restaurant.
Communicate the other person's name. Write the person's name on the email. Say the person's name first when communicating to him or her. Sir, miss, ladies, and gentlemen are acceptable.
Begin And End In A Friendly Way. Greet the people you see for the first time today. Good morning. How's your day? Are you feeling better? Top of the morning. What has been going on? Say goodbye to the people you see for the last time today. Drive safely. Have a good day. Bye guys. Ladies, take care. Add variety to your greetings and endings.
Smile. Self explanatory.
Give Sincere Appreciation. Self explanatory, too.
Small Talk. Small talk is acceptable conversations. Sometimes small talk leads to long conversations. Small talk can be useful to meet new people.
Be Professional. The most important rule in Mike's Rules. Do everything professionally. Be a pro. We watch professional sports players on television. They're working. They're performing at their highest professional level.
I add three new rules that are excluded from the original list.
Addendum #1: Fake It 'Til You Believe It. There are going to be moments you must trust you intuition. Convince yourself you can do it for others to follow. Believe in yourself.
Addendum #2: A Quote I Remember. "You can choose comfort or you can choose courage, but you cannot have both." --Theodore Roosevelt
Addendum #3: High Power. I pose and present my physical self in the high power.

My Dream Ignored Me
I walked on campus between classes. Everyone ignored me. Two people who were my friends in my past appeared in my dream. They ignored me, too. I said after waking up, "That was a sad dream." Next I said I blog my dream after work sharing a fear. The fear is the world ignores me. The fear is I'm lonely.
I don't want to be lonely. I want to be a good person attracting good people. I want to spend my time with good people. We benefit from each other's good company, kindness, and joy. I want to prove the world I'm a good person. I'm a good person such that good things happen to me. I belong to the good crowd. I don't belong to the loser's crowd.
I'm always meeting new people and making new friends. I believe nobody can have too many friends. I always improve my social skills and human relationships. I never live my life being lonely. The world can count on me meeting new people. I do my best to lower the world lonely population by one when I make new friends.
My future looks good. I'm looking forward to have a better life. I create more circle of friends as my life continues to get better.

Work Mar 8, 2014
Wed Feb 26 was my second time I drove to work in the rain. I experienced a serve case of dermatitis on my hands. I used hand sanitizer to clean my hands instead of the soap in the bathrooms. The shipping clerk caught a case of wine missing a bottle. My manager refused the case. He told me buyers or consumers have the right to refuse products and services.
The last half hour of my shift I experienced no work for the first time. I stood up and walked around the cramped office to move around and avoid boredom.
The entire Thur Feb 27 was busy as the store prepared for a German wine tasting.
One of my co-workers was given his performance review by the two co-owners at the second store on Fri Feb 28. One of his highlights was his good ideas such as transferring overstock wines to our warehouse. The store received lots of cases because there were no deliveries earlier in the week. Today was catch up for the vendors.
Today was the first time I experienced the common working attitude, "I don't want to go to work today" on Mon Mar 3. I had a bad attitude. Regardless, I was professional. I got the job done. The morning shift was quiet. I listened to a podcast in my car for the first time driving home.
The morning was busy on Tue Mar 4. There were too many phone calls. The first call I handled was a customer picking up his wines. I went to the stock room to confirm the order was ready to pick up. I learned how to log a customer pick-up on the list. The second call I handled was a caller in New York who wanted in-store picking up. The customer thought we could deliver her order to another "liquor store". Our start-up retail store sells artisan wines.
Today was the first day the second store opened on a Tue. The store was short-handed. The two part-time workers didn't show up. One called in sick. The second went AWOL. The owner sent a worker's shift from the first store to the second store. Both stores were short-handed.
I purchased my first bottle of wine. It was a Raymond Cabernet Sauvignon "Generations" 2009. The wine was #89 in Wine Spectator's Top 100 Wines Of 2013.
A co-worker came back from her vacation on Wed Mar 5. We're no longer short-handed on the back-end. Good news. The store experienced Wi-Fi problems. Bad news.
"Ridiculous frustration" were the two words I described Fri Mar 7 at both locations. Confusion, wrong deliveries, owner being sick, lack of communication, and worker injuries plagued the entire day. The end of the day ended on a happier note. The last hour of the store was busy with lots of customers. I drank white wine for the first time. Finally, a co-worker is leaving on Sat May 8. And a co-worker found a job in a restaurant paying double wages with benefits and Sunday's off.

The Most Likely Good Time At Any Convention Rule
I attended 39 big and small anime conventions between 1997 and 2013. I had good times at good conventions and I had good times at bad conventions. What I made out of these conventions helped me have a good time. It was not meeting new people and making new friends. It was not buying DVDs and books at the dealer's room. It was not wearing a costume. It was not participating in events. And it was not watching the masquerade. The what you make out of it rule superseded all of these.
Control what you can control and don't control what you can't control. Conventions are rarely 100% organized. There is always a chance of disorganization to any degree. Do whatever it takes to find joy.

Evaluate Your Life Daily
My performance review was yearly when I worked at Colliers. The office manager assessed my performance, assigned me goals, addressed criticisms, and suggested improvements. The entire staff and I took the performance reviews lighthearted. We listened to the office manager, agreed on everything spoken, and signed off. It was business as usual the next day.
I don’t believe in yearly evaluation and reviews. I believe everyone should evaluate and assess daily. I believe everyone should observe and be self-conscious all of our actions, behaviors, attitudes, performances, knowledge, and wisdom every day. The evaluation applies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The evaluation is anywhere and anytime regardless of working at a job, attending school, or staying at home. Be aware of yourself. Find something, anything that needs improvement, change, and innovation. Don’t wait for New Year’s Day, next month, or your birthday. Do it immediately.
Managers should evaluate their workers daily, not yearly. Don’t wait for an error to be addressed at the yearly performance review. Address the problem now, think of solutions, and fix it. I believe workers should evaluate managers, too. Strong management is important for worker satisfaction. Workers concern on management weakness should be corrected immediately.
I agree with the NBA’s policy on evaluating and reviewing officials every day. There is no delay on correcting errors and improving their officiating. I remember the days after Sat Oct 4, 2008 when I realized I must grow up. The changes were immediate. I purchased new clothes, started to read fiction books, improved my gym workouts, and created a new blog. There were more changes months afterwards.

Parents, Get Out And Do Something
My parents lived the simple life when I was young. I realized last year my parents lived a boring life and my childhood was boring. I stopped living a boring life. I’m catching up what I missed years ago by meeting new people and making new friends, finding new adventures, learning anything new, and experiencing new experiences.
My parents could have not been boring. They met somehow. One had to initiate attraction toward the other and the other responded positively. They got married. Were they actually boring people who met with good luck and timing?
If somebody says you’re boring, chances are they’re correct. Take your head out of your ass, look at the mirror, top being stubborn, and do something, anything.

A Bowl Of Cheerios
There are plenty of musts a person must experience in his or her life, even if it's just one time. Everyone has their own list of musts they did or they're going to do. Isn't life a list of must do's? Nobody does the same routine day after day 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There is so much to do outdoors and even indoors XD Balance yourself doing activities indoors and outdoors. They're equally important. Continue finding new activities. The list of new musts never ends. Your list of new experiences to experience must never be completed. This is an example life is not perfect. If you die with a long list of new experiences accomplished and not accomplished, that means you lived an active life!
Here are some new experiences I experienced for the first time in 2009. I admit these are small potatoes; however, I'm going in the correction direction. And it's another example of me growing up!
*Hiking. I started hiking in April. I hiked two trails. I plan to hike at least once a month.
*Ballroom Dancing. My sister is teaching me ballroom dancing. I'm taking classes at De Anza. I continue learning and practicing.
*Strength Development. I took a class on weight lifting at De Anza. My max bench press is 200lbs. As this moment, I'm recovering from being sick. I'm eager to workout soon =)
*I ate Pho for the first time. Pho is Vietnamese soup.
*In Aug, I'm planning to attend a jazz festival in Downtown San Jose.
*I wan to skydive. I need to find someone to come with me ;)

Tired Of Being The Host?
My last year at San Jose State University, my friends spread the places we hung out. Spreading and sharing the host responsibilities were good actions we were good friends. Most of us were in college and we didn’t have money to get our own apartments. We changed hung out locations to prevent overburden our parents’ house. In the summer time, two of my friends met two new friends at a gaming convention. We then hung out at one of the friend’s father small business because it was convenient including facilities and no worries bothering any family and neighbors. We all appreciated his welcome :D
I think back today and I realize some of us had advantages to be the host. My house was big to host all of my friends. My family and I had the tables, board games, and TVs for fun. Some of us didn’t have the necessary facilities and entertainment goods to host us. And a few of us parents don’t like having friends visit their houses which is messed up =\ Parents, how can your children become good people if they can’t have friends? Nobody can live life being alone. Parents, you’re not alone. Both of you got married O__O I digress.
Another factor to consider why some friends can’t be hosts include family situation such as too many relatives in the house; for example, the grandparents are sick and need care from someone in the house. Financial situation is another factor such as can’t afford to have people over to offer food and prevent higher utility bills. The friends who can’t offer their place to hang out must find ways to appreciate someone else’s place such as buying food and drinks, giving a birthday gift, paying gas money if the friend is driving, or bring games and DVDs. Never take a friends’ place, family’s place, or acquaintance’s place to hang out or to host entertainment for granted.

Think Of A Theme To Initiate A Gathering
Initiating a gathering makes you a starter, a starter to get people together. That's good. Personally, when I was in college, I was an initiator. I was an idiot to realize being the starter is important in a circle of friends. I incorrectly thought being the initiator was being the initiator only. I always had to do the starting, the organizing, and if my other friends did activities, I never be invited.
Being the initiator, the person who thinks of a hang out theme, is important. Your friends treat you with additional respect that you get everyone together. If you feel all you do is initiate and your friends do other activities among themselves and exclude you, then you probably want to find new friends. And it's acceptable you friends have other friends outside your circle of friends and they hang out among themselves.
Good luck and never give up finding new friends. Always meet new people.
